AI Show & Tell: What's Actually Working Right Now

Idea Submission Form

Built something useful with AI? Tried something weird? Found a shortcut? Had an experiment go spectacularly sideways? We want to see it.

The Association Forum Marketing & Communications SIG is gathering real examples of how association professionals are putting AI to work right now.

No polished presentation required. No need to be an AI expert. We're looking for practical experiments, useful lessons, and things you can actually show.

Selected participants will have approximately 5 minutes to show what they did, what happened, and what others can learn from it during the virtual Marketing & Communications SIG on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from noon–1 p.m. CT.

Participants may submit up to three different ideas, using a separate submission for each.

Submitting an idea does not guarantee that it will be selected for the live Show & Tell.

Real work. Real results. Real lessons.

Just enough for us to remember which idea is which.

Give us the quick version. What were you trying to solve, improve, create, or figure out?

Tell us what you actually tried.

Success, failure, somewhere in between. We want the real story.

What would you do again?

The useful stuff is often hiding here.

For example: a workflow, prompt, custom GPT, automation, before-and-after, output, process, campaign, dashboard, bot, or spectacularly instructive failure.

Are you comfortable sharing this in a 5-minute live demo?
Are you available Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from noon–1 p.m. CT for the live session?

Whatever played a role. One tool or twelve. We're not judging your browser tabs.

Are you currently a member of Association Forum?
If we create a community voting gallery, may we share a brief description of this idea publicly?

We would never publish your email address. Public voting, if used, would feature only approved idea information.

No polished pitch required. We're curating useful stories, not auditioning for TED.
